    hi admin…
just wanted to ask is distance learning degree of B.Ed accepted for teaching license?

      (March 3, 2018 - 3:50 pm)

I think not to try distance..the next only one option is UK level 5 diploma, but all group are asking huge amount. So we will wait for some low fees team.

Please provide updates on this. What is the name of the institute and is this PGCE acceptable for equalization in the UAE? MOE/ADEK require a practicum as well, not just a distance learning/coursework PGCE. Can you please share the name of the institute so that we can send our own enquiries?

I have contacted the admin of the website given below.
I have asked few questions to their Dubai consultant.I was not satisfied with their answers. These are the questions.
1:Dou you have an office in UAE where we can approach directly for payment and information?
      Answer: NO, they dont have
2.Do you have any local contact number in UAE where we can talk and meet the paerson?
Answer: They dont have , One person called me from Dubai Land phone number, BUT there is no incoming to that number.
Conclusion: Without proper authenticity , it might be a SCAM also, So I don’t like to share such information.
Any way , I am pasting their mail information below.

      Dear …..

Thank you for contacting us about our courses. The Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training is our most popular course and provides the Teacher Preparation Qualification component of the UAE Teacher Licence (in the same way that a UK PGCE would). We already have a number of students undertaking the course already in Dubai, and have consultants based out there. If you wish then we could ask one of our Dubai-based consultants to contact you about the course over the phone, to discuss it in more detail – please let us know when is convenient for you. In the meantime please look through the website, as this has a wealth of information on it regarding the Level 5 Diploma. Unlike a PGCE course you can start as soon as your first payment is made and complete it at your own pace – the quickest completion has been 12 weeks but most students usually take 4-5 months.

We would also like to inform you of our ‘refer a friend’ scheme that provides a discount of 500AED for both you and a friend, once you have both registered with us (we have attached a course registration form for you to complete). This discount is unlimited so the more friends you successfully refer then the greater the discount! We are also pleased to offer the QualifyEd Instalment Plan, which is designed to make payment more manageable and spreads the cost into 4 scheduled monthly payments of 2,500AED.

As mentioned above, please let us know if you would like our consultant to call you to discuss this further. We look forward to supporting you to become QualifyEd!

      Kind regards

Hello! I have done M.Phil and my specialization is Philosophy. I don’t have B.ed. But, I have more than 2 years of teaching experience in Dubai. I have taught in school as Primary school Class teacher and as a part-time faculty member in the University. Presently, I am not working as I am taking care of my baby. But planning to join work after one year. I am not sure which course should I take up CELTA OR LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA COURSE. I don’t know which one is better as my specialization is Philosophy due to which I have got an asisstant teacher experience certificate. Need help!

      (January 12, 2018 - 8:06 am)

Any way recognized teaching certificate is mandatory to fulfill the license document submission. As completing a regular B.Ed is not possible at this stage ,I personally suggest LEVEL 5 Diploma course from any recognised center, because less duration and no examination, the only one problem is the fees, We will inquire about the reasonable fee structure. All requirements we can keep ready, but applying for Teacher license can do ONLY THROUGH SCHOOL.

I am interested -despite the fact that i ve been an esol – efl teacher since 1992 / getting a Qts would be ideal

    (January 11, 2018 - 6:55 pm)

How can I enroll it and what are the details about fees

      (January 11, 2018 - 7:01 pm)

I am still doing research on it, I met few centers those who are providing this course, but they are charging 10000 AED, it is too high, I have discussed with one team and requested them to provide at (a) short duration and (b) with affordable price to help low income people like me..They said they will work on it and will inform..if it is reasonable, i will write a post about the same..Dont forget to share this site with your friends about the website

        (January 12, 2018 - 4:46 am)

Which university in Dubai is offering this course?

          (January 12, 2018 - 8:14 am)

This team is offering the course, but the fee is high( 9000 aed to 10000 aed) , So I am waiting for the confirmation from some other institutions. We will see who can offer at low price, low fees and professional service.

            (January 17, 2018 - 9:08 am)

I tried this website but it does not show uae contacts. Can you please guide about any local centers offering this course?

            (January 17, 2018 - 6:03 pm)

Don’t worry..there is some thing getting ready..there was a meeting today regarding the same issue..Some institute coming up with good package which include Ielts practice, other test practice and certification for teachers that will be accepted by ministry..They said they will send the duration and fee details ASAP, I will publish here once I receive the same.
