I have been teaching English for 17 years, I have a distinction in my teaching practice and and A Pass from CELTA yet I was unable to do the vast majority of this exam. Why? We were given one week’s notice and almost no information on what to expect. I expect to fail the exam but this doesn’t bother me because I know I am a good English teacher. The exam was prepared for a Master’s in Linguistics/DELTA level applicant . You cannot expect people to be at this level in a week. So, in short, the exam was a complete waste of time.
