Individual Learning Preferences – visual

Models of Learning Preference Advantages Disadvantages
visual In visual learning, especially in science recollection is easier when the learner is exposed to images in environments .

In science. Visual learners best process and interpret information when they are exposed to images, illustrations, pictures and other visual media.

For example, in teaching group of science students about cell, when they are exposed to a picture of a cell structure, students can interpret and illustrate more easily than text content. They are excellent observers and memorizers and can often remember quickly

Disadvantage of visual learning is that the learner has trouble when only text and speech-based tools are used for instruction. Some concepts are difficult to teach  via visual learning  so visual learners often struggle in classes when teachers use lecture method.
